A new 24 hours News Network in Albania will be launched this year through an exclusive partnership with CNN

Gener 2, one of Albania’s leading companies, is proud to announce the launch of its first news channel, A2, in an exclusive partnership with CNN, the world’s news leader. The new channel will be headquartered from a major production hub in Tirana, supported by news operations located in other cities in Albania and the region.

The development of A2 is a result of a partnership between two major brands, Gener 2 and CNN. Both leaders in their sectors, Gener 2 and CNN will bring together local and global expertise, standards and capabilities for the launch of the new channel.

The channel, expected to be launched by the end of the year will reach the residents of Albania as well as millions of Albanians living outside the country.

As an exclusive CNN affiliate, the new channel will complement its original programming by incorporating selected CNN programing and news translated into Albanian language.
